Commemoration of the Martyrdom of the 26 Saints of Japan
The Catholic archdiocese holds an annual event to commemorate the followers aged 12 to 64 years who were martyred during the period of oppression of the Christians.

Nagasaki Lantern Festival
Through Nagasaki's long history of foreign exchange with China, Chinese culture still exists in the city today. Under the light of more than 15,000 lanterns, the Lantern Festival showcases a number of exciting events such as Chinese Acrobatics and the Dragon Dance every year.
